Taste:
8.5 (of 10)
Note:
A smooth Chardonnay with nice flavors of honey, vanilla, figs, lemon, nuts and oak. It's one of the better Chardonnay's I've had in a while with a smooth, creamy texture and flavors that don't overpower the meal. The oak flavor is stronger than most other Chardonnay's and gives it a quiet maturity that is often lacking in todays wines. A very good white.

Food:
I enjoyed it with pasta with cheese and tomatoes. It would also go well with fish, particularly flounder or tilapia, or better yet, trout grilled on a cedar plank. That's the ticket!
