Color:
2.5 (of 3)
Note:
A light, golden sunshine color that sparkles in the light with tiny bubbles on the glass. It makes you think of sunflowers.
Aroma:
5 (of 7)
Note:
A strong citrus scent with lemon and a milder peach along with traces of honey and vanilla.
Taste:
8.5 (of 10)
Note:
Tiny bubbles introduce a unique flavor in this Malvasia, like so many Italian wines. The dominance of citrus in the aroma is not found in the taste. Instead, there are milder flavors of peach, apricot, lemon, honey, vanilla and nuts. It's semi-dry and slightest sweet. It's a soft and subtle flavor unlike so many Chardonnay's and Sauvignon Blanc's that attack you with tart citrus flavors. This is a very good white with food.

Food:
I had it with a light meal of quiche and a salad. The wine turned out to be better than I expected. The soft flavors are a good match with eggs.
