Color:
2 (of 3)
Note:
It's a very clear wine, very clean looking. There's a slight golden tint to what would otherwise be described as a paper color. It's very light.
Aroma:
4.5 (of 7)
Note:
The aroma is filled with loud citrus scents, especially lemon and maybe even some pineapple. But there's a bitterness to it. It reminds me of an overly scented household cleaning fluid.
Taste:
7 (of 10)
Note:
This is a very tangy Chardonnay. It's harsh and has a biting citrus flavor. There's a tart flavor of lemon along with traces of wood and figs. It's an aggressive flavor that goes too far and lacks any real subtlety or charachter.
Total:
13.5 (of 20)
Food:
I had this Charodonnay with eggs. I made omelets with cheddar, swiss and muenster cheese along with tomatoes, black olives and the last green pepper from my garden. This was definitely not the right wine. Just don't tell my doctor I ate eggs!
