Color:
2.5 (of 3)
Note:
A beautiful light golden honey
color. Nicely done!
Aroma:
6 (of 7)
Note:
Soft honey and floral scents.
It's good enough to attract bee's! There are light wood and
butter aroma's as well.
Taste:
8.5 (of 10)
Note:
It starts sweet with creamy
honey and butter flavors and finishes with tart green apple
fruitiness. Very well balanced with a subtle transition. It's
not choppy at all and there's no hint of bitterness that I've
seen in some other kosher Rieslings. It's light, dry and elegant
all at once. Definitely recommended!

Food:
The Yarden White Riesling was
terrific with diced grilled chicken laid on a green salad
with a light vinaigrette. A very health, hearty summer meal
and a very well paired wine.
UPDATE:
I finished the bottle tonight with an even better recipe.
This was steelhead trout lightly coated with olive oil, then
sprinkled with salt and fresh ground pepper and then covered
with the juice of a fresh lime. I grilled it and paired it
with a green salad and it was terrific with this Riesling.
The lime flavor on the fish, along with the wine, is great!
One of the best meals I've had all summer!
