Aroma: 6 (of 7)

Note: Filled with heavy aroma's of ripe berries and wood. I smell cherries, blackberries, raspberries and plums along with oak and pepper.

 

Taste: 9 (of 10)

Note: Rich and smooth, it's overflowing with the flavors of cherries, blackberries, raspberries and plums. Very fruity but well balanced by oak, pepper and tea flavors. It has a very smooth dry finish with low to medium tannins. This is a terrific blend.

 

Total: 17.5 (of 20)

 

Food: I enjoyed this Cab-Merlot blend with a grilled tuna steak topped with spicy hot salsa along with french fries. A great meal!
