Taste:
9 (of 10)
Note:
A wonderfully complex blend
of flavors are found in this terrific California Cabernet,
including blackberries, plums, licorice, smoke, spices and
tobacco. I haven't been impressed with many kosher wines from
California recently but this Herzog Cab is in another class
altogether. It's rich, deep and soft all at once with just
the right dryness and smooth tannins that add to a delicious
finish. Well done! Definitely recommended!

Food:
I enjoyed this marvelous Cabernet
Sauvignon from Herzog with spaghetti with my famous homemade
tomato sauce. Delicious! It would also go well with steak,
hamburgers, zesty chicken dishes or any spicy asian cuisine.
I do a cajun blackened tuna steak that would go weel with
this also. Very nice!
