Note: Wonderful aromas of plum, blackberry, leather and tobacco. Very rich and inviting.

Taste: 9.5 (of 10)

Note: Simply put, this is one of the best wines on the market. Superb flavors and the wonderfully rich complexity of the very best Bordeaux's. It's filled with fruit flavors of plum, blackberry and currants and carried along by leather, cigar tobacco and smokey cedar flavors. Full-bodied, dry and loaded with firm tannins and a long, earthy but elegant finish. Beautifully done! This is the wine to mark a special occasion.

Total: 18 (of 20)

Food: I'm spending the week at the beach and the smells of the sea, a large grilled steak and this terrific wine is great! The steak and the wine go together wonderfully. They were made for each other!
