Color:
2.5 (of 3)
Note:
A deep, dark garnet. Very elegant.
A bit of orange at the edges as it ages quite well already.
Aroma:
6 (of 7)
Note:
Rich and delicious scents of
cherry, oak, currants and leather. Nicely done.
Taste:
8.5 (of 10)
Note:
It's a medium-bodied bordeaux
with nice cherry, blackberry, oak and tea flavors. It has
a nice dry finish. It's not an overly strong flavor (some
people think it's a little weak) but it grows on you. The
only downfall here is that there isn't more flavor because
what flavor it has is very nice.
Total:

Food:
I had it with a wonderful sesame
chicken dish my wife, Linda, is famous for, along with wild
rice and snow peas. I wouldn't normally try a Bordeaux with
a chicken dish but this one is lively enough to handle it
quite well.
