Color:
2.5 (of 3)
Note:
A dark, rich, heavy looking
ruby color. Looks very full-bodied.
Aroma:
6 (of 7)
Note:
A heady, earthy aroma of berries
and oak. Rich, full and very nice. So far, this is a winner....
Taste:
9 (of 10)
Note:
Oh, that's good! Very rich
and full-bodied with a strong dry oak and berry flavor. It
has a nice long finish. It's a classic dry Merlot that will
just get better and better with age. This is a winner!
Total:
17.5 (of 20)
Food:
I had spaghetti and meatballs
(with plenty of garlic!) and good crusty garlic bread. I'll
have to fire up the grill with a thick steak for the next
bottle.
