I've
been looking for a Chardonnay I'd be willing to buy
again and I think I've finally found it. I've been disappointed
quite often, particularly with California Chardonnays.
There was an article recently about how California wines
have surpassed French wines in quality (and the French
are pretty upset about it) but I certainly have not
seen that in the kosher market.
The
Herzog Chardonnay Vin de Pays is the clear winner today
with better scores in aroma and taste. It's clearly
the better wine. I've enjoyed several different red
wines from Segal's but their Chardonnay is not quite
up to the task. France beats California again.
